Lets Get Real....

I'll be honest with you, this is scary. It's really been on my heart to put some unedited images up but really, I kept putting it off because of my fears. In the dawn of everything being completely digital, I wanted to portray something fresh, organic and yet not look like a clown against my Photoshop counter parts. I mean, don't get me wrong, I use Photoshop 110% of the time but sometimes I like to remind myself what Photography is, a photograph. So here you are, my heart and soul. Hopefully images that remind us what it feels like to be walking in the fall leaves, in a meadow by ourselves, or when the wind catches our hair and it makes us feel beautiful. I'm not saying these are amazing or even correct in technical terms but they are me. This is what I like producing; sunlight, warm and a fresh feeling reminding us how good it feels to be au natural!

My model for this fun session was Aleasha Johnson, a fabulous young lady who loves Disney princesses and acting. Makeup was provided by Makeup by Jessica Weaver

All of the images are SOOC (straight out of camera) except for sharpening her eyes and black & white conversions.

Bissa Wedding-Bremerton, WA

Len & Jaime were so much fun! Their wedding was the Naval Hospital in Bremerton. (Len is a Corpsman) If I was going to have a small chapel wedding I would have done it the exact same way they did it. Small, intimate, and leaving room for fun with their friends and family. Since it was such a small crowd I had lots of help from their friends to capture these images. Such a great couple. I hope you guys thrive in your new marriage!

Candice Hyland

Candice Hyland has one of the most divine faces I've ever photographed! {besides Capri} We had fun listening to Nicki Minaj and No Doubt, running around this random yard with some of the most captivating surroundings. Considering we both have kids it was amazing we had a chance to just enjoy what we were there to do, shoot. I couldn't have imagined a better photoshoot!

Hair Clips

While my husband and I were in Paris over Christmas I bought {tons} of faux flowers. Inspired by my ever crafty friend Andrea, I created these hair clips. Anyone that knows me knows floral and sparkly define my style, and I feel like these capture my personal taste. Tell me what you think. They work with my english hats and just as is in my hair. In the post above this one, they're also used in Candice Hyland's hair. I love how they almost look apart of the vine.
